Sarah Petites, LLC is a business & legal consulting service for entertainment industry pros.
〰️ Story & IP Development 〰️ Rights & Licensing 〰️ Business Strategy 〰️ Negotiation & Deal Support 〰️
I’ve provided strategic, legal, and financial advice to creative professionals making content for all major platforms including Apple+, Amazon, Google/YouTube, HBO, Hulu, Netflix, Paramount, Starz, and more. You know the drill.
I established Sarah Petites during the pandemic to give sliding-scale support to writers, filmmakers, and podcasters.
Sarah Petites was named in honor of my poppy, Herman Hack, a pilot in WWII. Herman landed in Normandy, fought at the Battle of the Bulge, and liberated concentration camps in Germany. When he returned to the US, he spent most of his career as a traveling clothing salesman. Toward the end of his life, he had saved enough to start his dream company, Sarah Petites, named after his mother (who is my namesake)—and he designed his own line of womenswear.
I’m a member of the NY bar, a surfer, a marathoner, a dessert-addict, and a long-suffering New York Jets fan. Those last two parts are thanks, in part, to Herman Hack.
